Dr Budhiraja features commonly in both print and electronic media. He is one of the founder members of Max Healthcare. Dr Budhiraja operated as Coordinator of the Department of Internal medicine till 2005, after which he was re-designated as Head of the department and then assumed charge as Chief of the institute, leading the services of Internal Medicine at Saket, Panchsheel Park and Gurgaon facilities. His special interests are in the field of Immunology, Rheumatology, Geriatric medicine and has been a pioneer in setting up Max's 'Smoking Cessation Clinic'
Dr. Sanjiv K S Marya has been in the field of medicine and orthopedic surgery for over 35 years. He qualified his MBBS as the Best Graduate of Maharshi Dayanand University and Medical College Rohtak. He completed his MS in Orthopedic Surgery from PGI, Chandigarh with honors – being declared the Best Post Graduate. Subsequently he took extensive training in the field through DNB (Diplomat of National Board) and the prestigious M.Ch. degree from University of Liverpool. He has been awarded with various fellowships of international repute including Fellowship of International College of Surgeons, USA; prestigious AO Trauma Fellowship in Switzerland and Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons of England. Dr Marya’s areas of specialization includes Joint Replacement Surgery for the joints of upper and lower limbs (Primary and Revision) and Trauma Management based on AO Principles. Till date, he has conducted over 15,000 Joint Replacements Surgeries, including over 3,500 Simultaneous Knee Replacement Surgeries (Bilateral Total Knee Replacements) and 3000 hip replacement surgeries.
Dr. Ambrish Mithal has rich experience of over two decades. He has held various positions both in academia and corporate hospitals. His contribution to endocrinology, particularly diabetes, thyroid disorders and osteoporosis is well recognized. His major current areas of research interest include diabetes and the heart, evaluation of new therapies for diabetes, vitamin D nutrition in Indians, and prevention of osteoporotic fractures. Dr Mithal is also principal investigator in several diabetes drug trials.
Dr. Balbir Singh is a prominent Cardiologist; renowned both nationally and internationally. He has received several international and national awards including the prestigious Padma Shree award. He pioneered several new techniques in invasive cardiology and has a faculty status at all major conferences both in Europe and America. Is a specialist in coronary angioplasty, electrophysiology, radiofrequency ablation for arrhythmias, pacemakers, devices to treat heart failure. Is on the advisory panel of several international societies. He is the fellow of the American College of Cardiology and has written many chapters in books and journals.
