His main areas of interest are minimally invasive cardiac surgery, redo cardiac surgery, aortic aneurysm surgery, valve repair /replacements, beating heart coronary bypass, total arterial coronary bypass surgery. He has extensive exposure to Paediatric Cardiac surgery, with research work on Bidirectional Glenn, Fontan procedure & Ebstein anomaly.
Over the last 12 years he has been member of the team pioneering in liver transplant in India and involved in subsequent innovations in living donor liver transplant such as minimally invasive donor hepatectomy, ABOI, Domino and dual liver transplant. He has participated in more than 1500 liver transplant including living donor, deceased donor, pediatric transplant and combined liver and kidney transplant. He is proficient in other complex hepatobiliary surgery, Kidney Transplant and vascular access surgery. He has number of publications and presentations in Indian and international conferences.
He is a member of Neurological Society of India,Neurotrauma Society of India,Neurological Surgeon Society of India,The European Association of Neurosurgical Societies (EANS),Neurospinal Surgeons Association,AO Spine and Neuro Spine Surgeons Association of India.
